I meant to upload this yesterday, but I was so crazy and busy that I just plain forgot. But here it is now. And if I have time, maybe I'll put two pix up today.

Lizards
As we were about to start our hike, we heard a woman screaming. I figured she must've run into a reptile (a snake, perhaps?) that she didn't like. It turns out that she was looking at a lizard on the wall and she stepped on another one. Luckily, this one was alive and well.

Bubble
Happy second day of Spring, everybody! I took this photo with one hand while I was blowing with the other. I got some pretty funny compositions on some other shots, but this one came out pretty well. I'm going to use this as my author photo for my first picture book.
View from the Bonaventure
I had a strange gig at the hotel this evening. As usual, I rode the elevators up and down too many times and got this shot of the rainy city.

A Rose is a Rose
And this one managed to blossom so nicely in the midst of our weed-infested backyard.

Venice Beach
I went to the beach today in an attempt to break my writer's block. As I was taking this photo, there was a man behind me shooting film of a scantily clad girl (who was freezing her a** off, incidentally). He was saying "Work that pole, baby. And action!" Yes, that is a direct quote.

Observatory
They say that the renovations will be finished by the end of this year. It seems to be coming along really well, from what I can see from the hiking trails. (A bit hazy today, though)

Sunset over Eagle Rock
I did some more time-lapsed photography this evening and froze my ass off!! But the moving images should look good since the clouds were so fabulous today.

Lulu Sleeping
I don't mean to bore you with more cat photos, but I was taking a bunch of glam shots of Lulu today. The diffuse light from big picture window was so perfect for some good shots that I couldn't resist.
Hazelnut Cookies
So, I'm thinking about writing a book called "Bake When It Rains: Inspiration and Recipes for Cloudy Days." I've had these hazelnuts in my freezer and I finally made these cookies with them. They don't look very exciting, but they're very light and crispy.

Seeley's
If you've ever been to Glendale, you know this corner. There is a Rally's across the street and Forest Lawn very nearby. On certain mornings, I see a man dressed all in red, with a long white beard like Kris Kringle waiting. Apparently, Santa Claus rides the bus to work.

Lulu Yawns
A cat yawning and stretching can look like a ferocious beast ready to claw your eyes out. Why do we let these strange creatures live in our homes?

Living Room
A cat always manages to find that one patch of sunlight. They say that if you you put a piece of paper in the middle of a gymnasium and let a cat inside. The cat will find that piece of paper and be sitting on it.

Moss
You would think it's too dry in SoCal for so much moss, but with all this rain lately, it's popping up everywhere.

Lindsey Lohan
I got paid to shoot a red carpet event this evening. So, I played paparrazzi for the night. What a strange scene! It was funny to see who is a camera whore, who's not looking so good these days, who's high, who's not used to being photographed, who the publicists are pushing, etc. Definitely an experience. I'm sure shooting the Oscars is the craziest!
